WOLFTV Setup

SET IPTV Setup Guide

SET IPTV is a cloud-managed playlist player for Smart TVs and Android-based boxes. Follow these steps to upload your WOLFTV list, activate the app, and keep channels refreshed across your devices.

Why SET IPTV

Simple web portal uploads, 7-day trial, and broad Smart TV compatibility

SET IPTV lets you push M3U playlists to your TV without sideloading apps. Enter the device MAC on the SET portal, upload your WOLFTV link, and the channels appear on your screen after a quick refresh.

  • Setup time: Roughly seven minutes from app launch to streaming.
  • Pricing: Free 7-day trial, then €16 one-time activation.
  • Connectivity: Works with Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • Playlists: Manage multiple lists per MAC in the SET IPTV portal.
Activate the app before the trial expires—once the seven days end, channels disappear until you pay the €16 license.

Upload Your WOLFTV Playlist

  1. Open SET IPTV on your TV/box and note the MAC address displayed on screen.
  2. Visit https://setsysteme.com/set.app on a computer or phone.
  3. Enter your MAC under Reset TV Playlists, tick the captcha, and click Reset to clear old lists.
  4. Scroll to Upload M3U/URL, paste the same MAC, add the secure WOLFTV M3U link, and give it a name (e.g. wolftv).
  5. Press Submit, then restart the SET IPTV app on your TV to load the new channels.
Double-check the MAC format (uppercase, no spaces). If the playlist fails, re-enter the link and ensure your WOLFTV subscription is active.

Keep Channels in Sync

  • Re-upload the playlist whenever WOLFTV provides an updated link.
  • Use the RESET option first to prevent duplicate lists.
  • Store your activation receipt; you may need it when reinstalling the app.
  • Restart your Smart TV or box weekly to clear cache and reload categories.

Device Notes & Alternatives

Smart TVs

SET IPTV is handy for Samsung and LG TVs where sideloading is difficult. For enhanced UI and catch-up, consider Nanomid or iMPlayer if available.

Nvidia Shield & Android Boxes

Works, but Android-specific apps such as TiviMate or Nanomid provide better navigation and shortcuts.

Xiaomi Mi Stick / Box

Supports SET IPTV, though weaker hardware may stutter with large playlists. Lower the stream resolution if buffering persists.

Formuler Boxes

Use MyTVOnline for the best Formuler experience. Keep SET IPTV as a backup only.

Optimisation & Troubleshooting

  • Playlist missing? Confirm the portal upload succeeded and restart the TV app.
  • Validation error? Ensure the MAC matches what the app displays (e.g. 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX).

  • Need multiple playlists? Upload them sequentially—the app will list each entry you add under the same MAC.

FAQs

Is SET IPTV free?

No. You get a 7-day trial, then you must pay the €16 license to keep the app active.

Where do I upload my playlist?

All uploads happen on the SET IPTV portal at setsysteme.com/set.app. The TV app simply syncs whatever you store there.

Can I add multiple playlists?

Yes. Repeat the upload process with a new playlist name; the app will show a list of available entries for that MAC.

Does SET IPTV support subtitles?

Subtitle handling is limited. If captions are crucial, consider IPTV Smarters, Nanomid, or MyTVOnline instead.
